Enterprise Group PLC is pleased to announce key leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its executive capacity and supporting the continued growth of its businesses across Ghana, Nigeria and The Gambia.
Effective 1 September 2026, Mrs Jacqueline Benyi, Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana, has been appointed Group Chief Operating Officer (Life), responsible for the three life entities - Enterprise Life Ghana, Enterprise Life Nigeria, Enterprise Life Gambia. Jackie will also have responsibility for the funeral services subsidiary (Transitions). At the same time, Mr Francis Akoto Yirenkyi, who up till now has been serving as Executive Strategic Advisor at Enterprise Life Nigeria, assumes the role of Acting Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana, pending regulatory approval from the National Insurance Commission (NIC).
The appointments reflect Enterprise Group's commitment to strengthening leadership across its businesses and positioning them for the next phase of sustainable growth, innovation and regional collaboration.
Jacqueline Benyi Appointed Chief Operating Officer

A Chartered Insurer and Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK), Jackie is the first and only professionally qualified life underwriter and claims assessor in Ghana. She holds a degree in Economics and Sociology and an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana. She has also completed executive leadership programmes at the University of Stellenbosch and the Gordon Institute of Business Science in South Africa.
Since becoming Managing Director of Enterprise Life Ghana in 2016, Jackie’s passion for business excellence and operational effectiveness has driven the company through a continuous path of business remodelling and organizational restructuring, process efficiency and the application of technology to drive positive customer experience and shareholder value. Her passion for people development has been felt throughout her 25 years in life insurance administration.
Jackie’s appointment to this expanded regional role reflects the Group's confidence in her leadership and her ability to drive greater collaboration, operational excellence and innovation across multiple businesses.
Francis Akoto-Yirenkyi Returns to Lead Enterprise Life Ghana

Mr Francis Akoto Yirenkyi returns to Ghana after a one-year assignment in Nigeria, where he served as Executive Strategic Advisor at Enterprise Life Nigeria.
Francis has been part of the Enterprise family since 2005 and has held several senior leadership positions within Enterprise Life. Most recently, he served as General Manager, Distribution, with oversight responsibility for the company's distribution channels and sales operations before taking up his regional assignment in Nigeria.
A Chartered Insurance Professional (ACII), Francis holds a degree in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree from the University of Ghana, and a Senior Management Development Programme Certificate from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He also successfully completed the Enterprise Executive Development Programme (facilitated by Leapfrog Investment).
His extensive experience across distribution, operations and executive leadership, coupled with his recent regional exposure, positions him strongly to lead Enterprise Life Ghana through its next phase of growth.
