Accra, Ghana — March, 2026:

Enterprise Group PLC, Ghana's oldest and most established financial services group, has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001 certification — the foremost international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The certification represents a defining milestone in the Group's ongoing investment in safeguarding information assets, protecting customer data, and fortifying operational resilience across its subsidiaries.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the globally recognised benchmark for organisations that manage sensitive information through rigorous policies, processes, risk management frameworks, and continuous improvement mechanisms. By attaining this certification, Enterprise Group PLC joins a distinguished class of institutions worldwide that have demonstrated an ability to meet the highest international standards of governance, security, and trust.

A Strategic Investment in Long-Term Sustainability

Commenting on the achievement, Group CEO Daniel Larbi-Tieku described the certification as integral to Enterprise Group's broader strategic vision.
"This certification is a strong statement of our promise to customers, regulators, shareholders, and partners that Enterprise Group takes information security seriously. As a financial services group entrusted with sensitive data, we have a responsibility to protect it with globally benchmarked systems — and ISO/IEC 27001 affirms that commitment," he stated.
The certification encompasses the Group's full information security framework, including risk assessment protocols, data protection controls, incident management procedures, and business continuity measures across all operations.

Years of Deliberate Investment

Benjamin Arthur, the Group's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), emphasised that the achievement is the culmination of sustained, deliberate investment in people, processes, and technology.
"The ISO/IEC 27001 certification validates the robustness of our information security management systems and the culture of accountability we are building across the Group. It ensures that we proactively identify risks, protect critical information, and respond effectively to emerging cyber threats," he said.
What This Means for Stakeholders
The attainment of ISO/IEC 27001 further strengthens Enterprise Group's standing as a trusted financial services brand, offering additional assurance to customers, investors, and partners that their information is managed with confidentiality, integrity, and availability at the foundation of every operation.
Enterprise Group PLC will continue to advance its information security posture through continuous monitoring, ongoing staff training, and system enhancements to ensure sustained compliance with the standard and alignment with evolving global best practices.
