Enterprise Group continues to deepen its commitment to financial literacy and youth empowerment through targeted campus engagements, with its latest session held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

The Smart Start Summit, which brought together over 200 students across various levels, focused on equipping young people with practical financial knowledge and introducing them to tools that support long-term financial planning.

Delivered by teams from Enterprise Trustees, Enterprise Life and Enterprise Insurance, the session covered key topics such as managing first income, building sustainable savings habits, and planning for long-term financial security.

The session also introduced students to relevant Enterprise solutions, including the Enterprise Personal Pension Plan (Sunnyside Plan) and the Bubble savings platform, both designed to support flexible and accessible financial planning for young people.

Engagement levels during the session were high, with students actively participating in discussions and raising questions around affordability, flexibility and how to begin saving with limited income.

Beyond awareness, the session generated measurable interest, with over 100 students participating in interactive activities, alongside recorded sign-ups for both savings and pension products.

The initiative also created an opportunity to build longer-term engagement through a proposed campus ambassador programme, aimed at sustaining financial literacy conversations among students.

The UPSA engagement forms part of Enterprise Group’s broader effort to promote financial inclusion and empower the next generation with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions.
