As part of its commitment to improving lives through health-focused Corporate Social Investment (CSI), Enterprise Group supported the inaugural Women's Health Screening & Outreach Programme organised by the Health with Patricia Initiative in partnership with the North Legon Electoral Area and Taifa Polyclinic on 13 August 2026. Enterprise Group contributed GH¢30,000 towards the programme, helping to remove financial barriers to access and enabling community members to benefit from a range of preventive healthcare services.
The outreach programme reached 250 community members, including 195 women and 55 men, and provided access to health education, screening, counselling and referrals. Participants benefited from services including cervical cancer screening, breast examinations, blood glucose testing, Hepatitis B testing and vaccination, blood pressure checks, family planning services and general health assessments. More than 200 participants accessed health screening services, while 157 people received Hepatitis B testing and vaccination.
A key focus of the programme was cervical cancer prevention and early detection. Through expert-led education sessions and on-site screening services, nearly 60 women underwent cervical cancer screening and breast examinations, creating a pathway from awareness to early detection and appropriate care. Specialist health professionals, including an obstetrician-gynaecologist from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), provided participants with valuable information on women's health and preventive healthcare.
Beyond providing financial support, Enterprise Group actively participated in the event, engaging directly with beneficiaries, sharing information about its products and services, and reinforcing its commitment to community wellbeing. The programme also provided significant brand visibility through event branding, social media engagement and media coverage by Adom TV.
This initiative aligns strongly with Enterprise Group's commitment to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting preventive healthcare, early detection and access to essential health services. By supporting initiatives that empower individuals to take charge of their health, Enterprise continues to contribute to healthier communities and improved quality of life across Ghana.
