How do I apply for a refund?

  • Completion of a benefit request form at the office or an email to cs.lifeng@enterprisegroup.com.gh(payment made only into deduction account for request via email)
  • A copy of the client's ID (National ID, voters' ID, driver's license, or International passport) must be attached to the request. Officer must confirm in writing that the original ID has been seen.
  • A copy of the proof of overpayment or wrongful deduction may be attached to the request form

How do I carry out an encashment/cancellation, part encashment, and cash bonus?

  • Completion of a benefit request form at the office or an email to cs.lifeng@enterprisegroup.com.gh (payment made only into deduction account for request via email)
  • A copy of the client's ID (National ID, voters' ID, driver license, International passport) must be attached to the request. Officer must confirm in writing that the original ID has been seen.

How do I migrate to another policy?

  • Client must complete and sign EL generic letter for migration or
  • Fill EL migration form when he walks into EL office
  • A copy of the client's national photo ID (voters' ID, National ID, driver’s license, or International passport) must be attached to the request.
  • Officer must confirm in writing that the original ID has been seen.

NB: Officer should inform Policyholder that they can only convert savings/investment plans to IPP or Family Care and not vice versa.

How do I resolve unsuccessful deductions?

  • Client must complete and sign EL request and mandate forms
  • Officer must advise customer to pay via online transfer.

How do I put a hold on my policy for a short period? (BRIDGING)

  • Completion of a request form or submission of letter to bridge.
  • Bridging can only be done on investment policies with a letter confirming unemployment status.

How do I buy a cash bonus feature on an existing policy?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to add cash bonus.
  • This ranges from NGN 1,000 to any amount but not above the premium payable on the policy.

How do I remove a life from my policy that was wrongly covered?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to remove life from inception via email/walk-in
  • To justify this, client must indicate the name and date of birth of the life he wishes to remove from the policy
  • Provide proof that the life was beyond EL's coverable limit at the inception of the policy (proof must be in the form of a national Id , or birth certificate)

How do I remove a life covered by my policy?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to remove life via email/walk-in
  • Client must indicate the name of the life he wishes to remove from the policy.

How do I increase the covered lives on my policy?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to add Life via email/walk-in
  • Client must indicate the name and date of birth of the new life, as well as the role he/she is to play on the policy. E.g. mother, father, guardian… etc.

NB. Officer must ensure that the age of the new life falls within the policy's age limits.

How do I change the beneficiary of my policy?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to change beneficiary, via email/walk-in.
  • Client must indicate the name of the beneficiary he wishes to replace, as well as the name and date of birth of the new beneficiary and the relationship of the new beneficiary to the client.

NB. Officer must explain the implications of this change to the Policyholder. There may be a need for the Policyholder to write out the names of all his/her intended beneficiaries each time this request is made.

How do I modify the number of beneficiaries on my policy?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to add beneficiary to policy, via email/walk-in.
  • The client must indicate the name and date of birth of the new beneficiary, as well as the relationship of the beneficiary to the client.

NB. Officer must explain the implications of this change to the Policyholder. There may be a need for the Policyholder to write out the names of all his/her intended beneficiaries each time this request is made.

How do I revise my trustee?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to change trustee details via email/walk-in
  • Client must indicate the name and date of birth of the new trustee, the relationship of the trustee to the client, as well as the contact details of the new trustee.

How do I modify my date of birth?

  • Fill EL request form or submit a letter to change date of birth via email/walk-in.
  • Birth certificate
  • Client must indicate name of life whose date of birth is to be changed, his/her role on the policy and the new date of birth of that life.
  • Proof of ID of the life is required

NB. Officer must ensure that the age to be changed falls within the policy's age limits.

How do I amend my mode/method of payment?

To Controller

  • Client must fill and sign EL request form and CONTROLLER mandate form.
  • Proof of ID is required.

To other pay points

  • Client must fill and sign EL request and mandate forms.

How do I amend my bank details?

  1. Client must fill and sign EL request and mandate forms.
  2. Client must also provide his BVN
  3. The new bank account number
  4. Bank name and branch details

NB. Officer must ensure that the digits of the account number are up to the required number, and ensure that the bank's branch is stated on the mandate form.

How do I change my name on my policy?

Client must provide proof that the new name and the name on the policy refer to the same person. Proof may be in the form of:

  1. For Married women:
    • Newspaper publication
    • Registry Marriage Certificate
    • Proof of ID
  2. Family name change:
    • Court declaration
    • Newspaper publication`
    • Proof of ID

How do I get to know the status of my policy?

  1. The client must fill/complete an enquiry form at our office.
  2. Send name, policy number, and request via email to cs.lifeng@enterprisegroup.com.gh
  3. Call contact center on 09088055606

How do I carry out my claim request?

A. Client must complete and sign EL Benefit Claim Form

B. The following documents must be submitted:

    • Death certificate
    • ID for both claimant and deceased
    • Medical certificate of cause of death
    • Police report, in the case of accidental death
    • All available burial documentation
    • All available mortuary document
    • Attending physician’s report
