Enterprise Group PLC walked away as the most decorated organisation of the evening at the 9ᵗʰ Ghana CEO Excellence Awards, claiming the event’s overall prize and three additional category leadership trophies that went to the Group’s subsidiary managing directors. The haul underscores both the strategic depth of Enterprise’s bench and the coherence of its “One Enterprise” vision.
Daniel Larbi-Tieku — Overall CEO of the Year
The Group Chief Executive Officer received the apex distinction for his “visionary leadership and transformative impact on Ghana’s financial-services sector”. Judges cited the Group’s record profitability, the seamless integration of its subsidiaries, and breakthrough digital initiatives—including the Enterprise Advantage App—that have pushed customer self-service to new heights. Accepting the award, Mr Larbi-Tieku credited “a family of purpose-driven leaders and staff who never lose sight of our customers’ needs.”
Jacqueline Benyi — Life-Insurance Leadership Award
Ms Benyi has driven Enterprise Life’s rapid growth by introducing micro-assurance products for the informal sector and automating underwriting processes that cut onboarding from days to minutes.
Akosua Ansah-Antwi — General-Insurance Leadership Award
At Enterprise Insurance, Ms Ansah-Antwi leveraged data-driven risk pricing, a real-time claims-tracking portal, and telematics-enabled auto covers to reduce claims turnaround and reward safe driving.
Joseph Ampofo — Pensions Leadership Award
Mr Ampofo doubled assets under management at Enterprise Trustees, adopted ESG-aligned investing, and launched the SmartPension dashboard that gives members instant insight into contributions and projected benefits.
A Collective Victory
The quartet of awards affirms Enterprise Group’s multi-brand strategy: each subsidiary executes with sector-specific expertise, yet all are united by a common digital backbone, disciplined governance, and a shared purpose of delivering “The Advantage” to customers across life, health, general insurance and pensions.
Group CEO Daniel Larbi-Tieku noted that the honours belong to “every Enterprise colleague whose daily work turns ambition into measurable impact.” With leadership teams across the Group now recognised as best-in-class, Enterprise Group is poised to deepen its market leadership, accelerate regional expansion, and continue redefining what Ghanaian insurance can achieve for customers and communities.
