Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology. He also holds a Diploma in Insurance. Joseph is a broadly experienced CEO with over 24 years in the Retirement & Insurance industry and is currently the Managing Director of Enterprise Trustees LTD. Joseph is a results-oriented leader with a strong track record of success in turnaround situations in the retirement and insurance space to deliver value to shareholders. He is well experienced in driving innovation around products, process and customer service improvements while building partnerships with key business decision makers. He is a strong strategic thinker and an advocate for team empowerment to deliver results.
Joseph began his career with Enterprise Insurance where he held various roles largely as a turn-around specialist in the branch network. As Branch Manager, he turned the Tema branch, hitherto a sub-office (2001-2008) and the Airport branch, a new branch (2009-2011), into key revenue Units within 12 months of his leadership. In 2011 he moved across to Enterprise Trustees LTD as Head Sales & Marketing to drive the distribution of private retirement benefits. He quickly rose through the ranks to General Manager and Managing Director subsequently having turned the operating business into profitable after 2 years.
Joseph is a graduate of the University of Ghana Legon, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology. He also holds a Diploma in Insurance & Pensions from the West Africa Insurance Institute (WAII) in The Gambia, having completed with Distinction. He also holds an Advanced Diploma from the Ghana Insurance College and is a Cert CII Holder for the Chartered Insurance Institute of UK. Joseph completed a 12-month Senior Management Development Program, from University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa.
With a passion for youth empowerment and leadership, Joseph is a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative - West Africa and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is also the President of the Chamber of Corporate Trustees, Ghana. Joseph loves sports and is an avid golfer.
