Dan is the Managing Director of Acacia Health Insurance LTD. Among his many responsibilities, Dan is responsible for creating strategic alignment, accelerating execution of plans, energising staff, building customer-centric relationships and engaging stakeholders.

Dan began his career as a house officer/medical officer at the 37 Military Hospital, and moved into private practice, joining C&J Medicare Centre where he rose to the position of Deputy Director (Diagnostics). He joined the erstwhile Managed Health Care Company as Head of Claims and Medical Networking, before later moving to Acacia Health as the CEO in 2015.

He holds a B.Sc in Human Biology and an MBChB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and  Technology. He also holds an MBA from the Central University Graduate School of Business and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Sheffield, UK.

In addition to having completed the WHO flagship course on Health Systems, Dan also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics for Health Professionals from the University of Aberdeen, and a Certificate in Health Policy and Financing from the Royal Tropical Institute, The Netherlands.

Dan is a Life member of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International (Royal Chapter) and he enjoys a variety of recreational activities from playing chess, Scrabble and football to archery, piano and photography.
