Abed is an accomplished Accountant with over 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing and corporate financial management and governance in the private industry sectors of the economy.

He set up the accounting system for Regimanuel-Gray, a real estate company. He has also worked with Vermeer Ghana Ltd, a mechanical construction company, as Finance Manager. Abed held the position of Finance Director of  AFGO Ghana Ltd  (later Aviance Ghana Limited) for 19 years. He was a key member of the transformation of the company from AFGO to Aviance during its acquisition. Abed was also part of the setup team of Swiss Port Ghana Ltd where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer. He is now an advisor to Swiss Port Ghana Ltd and a partner of BACK Consult, a firm of Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants.
