Aya Agbettor

Aya is the Group Head, Audit & Assurance, responsible for providing assurance to the Board of Directors on whether the risks that the Group is exposed to are adequately and effectively controlled.

She joined Enterprise Group from Sanlam Allianz General Insurance where she was the Head of Internal Audit. Prior to that, she was the Lead Consultant for Pectra Consult and before that she worked with Metropolitan (Life, Health & Pensions), first as Head of Internal Audit, then as Chief Finance Officer. She has also worked as Head of Audit for the Public Procurement Authority and as an Auditor with Opoku, Andoh & Co (Chartered Accountants).

Aya is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, (UK), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. She is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institutes, UK, and Ghana. She holds a MSc. Finance from the University of London, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from GIMPA. She has a Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from COSO.
