Two years ago, as Enterprise Group celebrated a century of operations in Ghana, we reflected deeply on what our next hundred years should represent. Under our centenary theme, “Celebrating our legacy, securing your future,” one profound truth became undeniably clear: securing the future of Ghana means investing directly in the people who are shaping it.
Today, we are thrilled to take the next step in that journey. Enterprise Group PLC and its subsidiaries, supported by its strategic partner Prudential Financial Inc., USA, and the Springboard Road Show Foundation, officially announces the launch of The Enterprise Spotlight—a national youth entrepreneurship development platform designed to discover, fund, and elevate the next generation of Ghanaian business leaders.

Igniting Dreams, Fueling Innovation, Building Futures

Across our country, young entrepreneurs are solving complex problems, creating vital jobs, and building businesses that fortify our economy. The statistics speak for themselves: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) account for 90-92% of all registered businesses in Ghana. They employ 80% of the country’s labor capital and contribute a staggering 70% to our national GDP.
Most importantly, this vital sector is driven by our youth, with an average entrepreneur age of just 33 years. These young leaders are not just starting businesses; they are building the very future of this country. The Enterprise Spotlight is our direct response to that incredible opportunity.

Enterprise Spotlight Growth

A Platform for Holistic Growth

Through a rigorous nationwide selection process, 24 exceptional entrepreneurs will be chosen to embark on a transformative journey. This initiative goes far beyond a traditional pitch competition. Selected participants will be taken through a structured process that includes screening, immersive pitching rounds, and unparalleled exposure to industry leaders.
The journey of these 24 entrepreneurs will be captured and broadcast to a nationwide audience on Joy FM 99.7 and Joy News TV starting May 10, 2026, providing them with critical brand visibility and market access.

Providing the Desired Advantage

To catalyze their growth, Enterprise Group has committed a total prize pool of GHS 500,000 in non-equity financial grants, with the overall winner receiving GHS 100,000 to scale their operations. We have also introduced a dedicated Most Resilient Award to specifically recognize and reward the achievements of entrepreneurs living with disabilities.
However, as noted by our Group CEO during the launch, “the prize money is only the beginning.” Capital alone does not sustain a business. Therefore, each selected entrepreneur will participate in a structured, 12-month mentorship journey through the Springboard Road Show Foundation. Experienced business leaders will guide them in strategy, leadership, and operational growth, alongside vital psychosocial counselling to build their resilience.
For more than a century, Enterprise has stood beside Ghanaians as they build their lives and businesses by providing superior business and asset protection solutions. Today, we are not only protecting what Ghanaians have built—we are helping ignite what they are yet to build.
