Enterprise Life Gambia was incorporated through the companies Act in the Gambia in November 2011 as a subsidiary of Enterprise Life Ghana. Enterprise Life, Gambia was incorporated as a strategic move to expand the operations of the Ghana based company across the frontiers of West Africa.
In May 2012, ELAC Gambia had its Life Assurance License issued by the Central Bank of the Gambia and started operations with 5 members of staff and 25 Sales Reps in June 2012. By July 2012, the staff number had grown to 22 following the appointment of many others to reinforce the team as the business grows.
The Sales Force has been developed through a strict selection process, intensive training and well-structured performance management system.
