Michael is a seasoned insurance professional with over 20 years of progressive experience. He excels in high-level relationship management with Brokers and Corporate Customers.

Michael has played various roles in the company namely; Head, Corporate Workgroup where he led the team to manage blue chip companies; Head, Tema Branch where he led the team to receive award for high performance being one of only 3 branches to receive such an award during his tenure. He was later appointed Snr. Manager, Quality Assurance the first of its kind in the company where he led the implementation of policy audit and claim analytics frameworks. He was also Snr. Manager, Retail, SME and Bancassurance Sector prior to being appointed Head Broker-Led Corporate Distribution with responsibility for the Broker channel.

He currently serves as the Asst. General Manager, Corporate Distribution with responsibility for Corporate Customer segment of the business accounting for 80% of the Company topline.

Michael is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College and has attended training programs in leadership, underwriting, reinsurance and claims management both locally and abroad.

He is a member of the Motor Technical Committee of the Ghana Insurers Association and the Professional Education and Research Committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He has previously served on the Motor Technical Committee of the Ecowas Brown Card Scheme, Ghana Bureau.
