Accra, Ghana - November 28, 2024—Enterprise Group, Ghana’s premier provider of insurance, life, and financial services, proudly announces the commissioning of the Butterfly Center, a pioneering facility dedicated to providing affordable options for early intervention services, respite, and support for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and other long-term ailments.
Located in Ridge, Accra, the Butterfly Center marks a major step forward in addressing mental health challenges among children, particularly autism, and reinforces Enterprise Group’s commitment to the welfare and health of children.
The Butterfly Center’s official opening, which took place on 28th November 2024, brought together distinguished guests, including the Group Board Chairman of Enterprise Group, the Group CEO, and leadership from Enterprise subsidiaries including Enterprise Insurance, Enterprise Life (Nigeria and Gambia), Enterprise Trustees, Enterprise Properties, Transitions, and Acacia Health Insurance. The Butterfly Center stands as part of Enterprise Group’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives during the centenary year of its oldest subsidiary, Enterprise Insurance, commemorating 100 years of providing an Advantage to Ghanaians.

As a specialized facility, the Butterfly Center will offer a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment designed to foster development, and wellness for children to grow and thrive despite their challenges. This venture aligns with Enterprise Group’s dedication to addressing vital societal needs, supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and enhancing community health.
The Center will be managed by Databank Foundation, Multikids Foundation, the Autism Center and other allied organizations.
This initiative strengthens Enterprise Group’s legacy as an agent of positive change in Ghana in its 100th year.
The Butterfly Center not only provides essential services but also raises awareness of mental health issues affecting children and their families.
