Ben Birch-Mensah joined Enterprise Life in 2008 and has worked in various capacities including; National Sales Management, Head of Bancassurance and Corporate Risk Management. He was appointed as Project Coordinator to start Gambia operations in July 2011 and subsequently made the substantive Country Manager for the Gambia until April 2015. Prior to joining Enterprise Life, Ben had worked in AIG (American International Group – America Life) and the Bank of Scotland, all in the UK in various capacities including sales and portfolio management. Ben Holds an MSc. In Information Management & Finance from the Westminster Business School (University of Westminster) UK, a CII diploma in Insurance, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi. He has extensive knowledge, skills and experience in Life insurance operations from both the UK and Ghana. Ben was appointed a General Manager in-charge of West Africa projects in 2018 to drive EGL’s expansion strategy across the sub-region following a successful set-up of Enterprise Life in The Gambia.
