Wilberforce is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Social Studies and Diploma in Economics from the University of Cape Coast.

He also holds a Diploma in Insurance from the West African Insurance Institute, the Gambia, and MBA in Marketing from the Central University Business School. He is a seasoned Underwriter with over 20years of experience in the Insurance Industry. Wilberforce has attended various courses and conferences in South Africa, Tunisia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Liberia, Senegal, and the Gambia.

He was seconded to the Insurance Company of Africa (ICA), Liberia for a period of two years.

Wilberforce has consistently involved in Strategy Formulation especially in the Retail, SME and Bancassurance space. Currently, he is an Assistant General Manager in charge of Institutional-Led Corporate Distribution.
