Joel Edmund Nettey

Joel is the immediate past world president and chairman of the International Advertising Association (IAA), the world’s most influential network of marketing communications professionals. He is the first African (and indeed black person) to have risen to this position.

He is savvy and well-acclaimed Management, Marketing and Marketing Communications expert and the Founder and Chief Executive of the Ninani Group, a group of Marketing Communications Specialist Companies in Ghana. That include Innova DDB Ghana, Touchpoint Magna Carta (the African PR Consultancy of the year 2019 and two time PR Consultancy of the year at the IPR Awards); Interactive Digital, ReZultz Advertising and Innova Liberia in Monrovia, Liberia.
Joel holds a Master in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Psychology degrees from the University of Ghana.

Norman Kelly

Norman Kelly is a Director of Investments and leads the LeapFrog Strategic Africa Investments (LSAI) Fund. The LSAI is an investment partnership established between LeapFrog Investments and the US-based global financial services leader Prudential Financial, which has as its objective to identify and make strategic investments in high quality financial services companies in selected African geographies. The LSAI’s first transaction was an investment into the Enterprise Group of Ghana in late 2017. A second substantial investment was announced in June 2020 whereby the LSAI acquired a 24% share in the non-operating holding company of the ICEA LION Group in Kenya.

As a senior actuary, with significant experience across industry, reinsurance, consulting and business development, Norman is widely recognised for his work in building and growing insurers across Africa.

In his current role, Norman is responsible for driving value and growth in the LSAI portfolio. He sits on the boards of Enterprise Life and Enterprise Trustees in Ghana, and the ICEA LION Life Assurance Company and the ICEA LION General Insurance Company in Kenya.

Prior to joining LeapFrog, Norman was a partner and director of the Actuarial and Insurance Solutions (AIS) practice at Deloitte Africa, where he advised large insurers on entering African markets and acted as statutory actuary for a number of clients.

Norman holds a Bachelor of Science in actuarial and mathematical statistics from the University of the Witwatersrand. He qualified with the Institute of Actuaries and is a fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.

Norman began his career at South African insurer Old Mutual, before working in a number of actuarial consulting roles. He headed the actuarial function for Sanlam’s developing markets subsidiaries and managed their bancassurance relationships across Africa. Norman was then appointed Business Development Actuary at SCOR Africa, where he helped develop the firm’s innovative, first-in-market life insurance product for low-income HIV-positive Africans

Martin Eson-Benjamin

Mr. Martin Eson-Benjamin is former CEO of the Millennium Development Authority of Ghana (MiDA), the accountable entity for Ghana's Millennium Challenge Account Programme. Martin worked with Kumasi Brewery Ltd, a subsidiary of UAC Ghana Limited from 1972-1981 and moved to Unilever Ghana Limited from 1982 to 1995 and rose to the position of Marketing Director. He rejoined Ghana Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of Heineken International in 1995, for a total of 9 years, starting as Managing Director, and later as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Eson-Benjamin has also served on the Boards of various Organizations. Board appointments include; Chairman of the Multimedia Broadcasting Company Ltd, Chairman of Ghana Agro Foods Company (GAFCO); Chairman of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, and as a Director of Ecobank Plc, Enterprise Group Plc, CFAO Gh Plc, the Kama Group of Companies, the Ningo Salt Company Ltd and Member of the Presidential Commission on Pensions. He was awarded the Marketing Man of the Year in 1984 and Officer of the National Order of the Volta in 2008.

Daniel Larbi-Tieku

Until his appointment to the role of Group Chief Executive Officer in April 2023, Daniel Larbi-Tieku was the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Group PLC. He was the Group Chief Finance officer from 2016 before his appointment as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer in 2020.

Prior to joining the Enterprise family in June 2011, Daniel worked at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company where he started as a Management Accountant in 1998 and rose through the ranks to become the Head of Finance in the year 2000. 

Daniel also worked in different capacities with Rank Hovis, UK, and Allied Walthamstow, UK between 1995 and 1998. He has attended a vast spread of international seminars and training programs, notable amongst them are, Coca-Cola Fast 1&2 development programs, National Examining Board for Supervisory Management, UK, Process and value engineering in Manufacturing, UK. 

Daniel Larbi-Tieku is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants, UK. Daniel is a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Accounting from the University of Ghana and a finalist in a Master of Finance Degree with the University of Wales (Distance Learning). 

Comfort Ocran

Mrs. Ocran has a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Linguistics from the University of Ghana. She was the Executive Director and Co- founder of Combert Impressions Ltd and is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Legacy and Legacy.

She runs an annual motivational and career guidance tour around Ghana which serves as a platform for the nation's leading public and private sector leaders to interact with the youth. Mrs Ocran is a board member of the Ghana Society for the Blind and the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literary and Bible Translation.

She is a fellow of the West Africa Nobles Forum, Aspen Global Leaders Network, Colorado and the African Leadership Institute.

Francis Koranteng

Francis Koranteng is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana. He is a certified Insolvency Practitioner. He graduated from the University of Ghana with a degree in Business Administration. He belongs to the Ghana Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Advisors (GARIA). He joined the Company’s board in June 2016. His areas of expertise include corporate governance, corporate finance, risk management, business restructuring and recovery. 

Francis has over 28 years’ experience as executive and non-executive director in the industrial, commercial and services sectors.

Keli Gadzekpo

Keli Gadzekpo was appointed the Board Chairman for Enterprise Group PLC in 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Group PLC from 2014. He has over two decades of experience in investment banking. Since co-founding Databank, he has contributed to the development of the capital market and the stock exchange in Ghana through his oversight of Databank Brokerage Limited. 

Mr. Gadzekpo is the Chairman of the Databank Foundation and also a Director of Ventures & Acquisitions Limited, Databank Epack Investment Fund and the North Ridge School. Mr. Gadzekpo went to Achimota School; he holds a BSc in Accounting from the Brigham Young University and is a CPA from the USA. 

He is also a Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University where he earned a master’s degree in Public Administration. 

Akosua Ansah-Antwi

Akosua is a Lawyer from the Ghana Law School and a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.

With over 22 years of progressive insurance industry experience in various business and team leadership roles, she has a deep knowledge of the insurance value chain and has a proven track record of transforming and leading operational teams to deliver high performance. She is highly skilled at developing and maintaining strong business relationships that drive bottom-line results.

Her extensive technical knowledge and operational strategy experience has contributed significantly to quality assurance in all aspects of the business.

Akosua also holds an Msc. in Global Management from University of Salford, UK. and an LLB Degree from the University of Hull, (UK).
