James Brew-Wartemberg

James Brew-Wartemberg is an insurance professional with extensive experience in Leadership roles, business growth, and corporate business development.

He started his insurance career in 2007 with Enterprise Life as a Unit Head, Premium Administration in charge of National Pay points, rose through the ranks to become Head of Department for Bancassurance in 2013. In 2017, he became the Regional Sales Manager for the Northern sector responsible for Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions. He also managed what is now Western North Region.

In 2019, he was appointed as Head of Department for Corporate Risk Business and managed the portfolio until 2024 when he exited from Enterprise Life to become the Chief Operations Officer for Aster Life.

James holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Coast and a master’s degree in project management (MPM) from GIMPA. He is a chartered insurer (ACII – UK, CIIG) and also holds various certificates in Risk Management, Re-Insurance, Relationship Management, Sales Leadership, Management Skills Development, Leadership and Team Building, Customer Relationship Management among others. He is an old boy of Adisadel College – a true Santaclausian

He loves football and is an ardent supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

David Larte Lartey

David Larte Lartey is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of experience in application development, enterprise systems, and digital transformation within the Ghanaian corporate and financial services environment. He has oversight responsibility for the organization’s IT infrastructure, applications, and support services, and brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to enabling efficient and reliable business operations.

David began his professional career in 2012 in logistics and the IT department of the Ghana Armed Forces, where he gained foundational experience in IT support, network configuration, and hardware troubleshooting. He subsequently joined Qualtek Ghana Limited as a Web Developer and as an Application Developer. During his time at Qualtek, he worked on multiple enterprise web applications and financial systems, delivering solutions for corporate clients including Groupe Nduom and other financial institutions.

In 2020, David joined Eni Ghana E&P Ltd (via Ostek IT) as a Demand Management and Application Engineer, where he supported application development and delivered internal business systems. He later joined Enterprise Insurance in November 2020 as a Digital Applications Developer, contributing to group-wide digital initiatives. His responsibilities included the development and support of HR management systems, onboarding portals, claims administration platforms, enterprise API integrations, and the support of core insurance applications across subsidiaries.

David also has international project experience, having participated in the deployment, testing, and training of online passport and visa application systems for Ghanaian embassies in Berlin and Copenhagen.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology for Business at the University of Ghana. His strong technical foundation, combined with a clear understanding of business processes, enables him to deliver reliable, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Outside of work, David enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and watching TV shows, contributing to a balanced and well-rounded lifestyle.

Adwoa Asiedua Boateng

Adwoa Asiedua Boateng is a seasoned Risk and Compliance leader with deep expertise in regulatory governance, enterprise‑wide risk management, and corporate compliance within Ghana’s insurance industry. She plays a pivotal role in strengthening organisational resilience and ensuring full adherence to regulatory obligations, internal standards, and global compliance expectations. Adwoa is known for her strategic approach to risk oversight, her ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into effective operational processes, and her commitment to fostering a strong culture of integrity across the business.

With over a decade of progressive experience, Adwoa began her career at Enterprise Life, where she served in frontline customer‑facing roles before moving into claims management—supporting clients through critical life events while ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency. In 2017, she transitioned to Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, where she shaped and strengthened the company’s compliance framework across anti‑money laundering (AML), sanctions screening, anti‑bribery and corruption (ABC), conflict of interest management, third‑party risk oversight, and regulatory reporting. Over the years, she has delivered Board‑level reporting, led compliance monitoring programmes, managed key regulatory relationships, and championed digital transformation initiatives within the Risk and Compliance function.

Adwoa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ashesi University, a Diploma in Insurance from Ghana Insurance College and is fluent in English, with working knowledge of French. Adwoa is a certified Data Protection Supervisor and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. She has also contributed extensively to organisational committees and strategic initiatives within the company.

Her interests extend to innovation, social impact and global development challenges—reflected in her active participation in various innovation challenges and international development forums.

Beyond her professional life, she also loves flowers, teaching kids and shaping young minds, listening to music and learning about history and different cultures around the world.

Araba Asumanu (Mrs.)

Araba is a dynamic and results-oriented business leader with over 25 years of progressive experience in the insurance and financial services industry, including more than a decade at the executive management level. She is a strategic thinker and operational leader, recognized for her ability to drive business transformation, shape financial strategy, and strengthen governance and enterprise risk management frameworks.

She began her career in KPMG, an International firm of Chartered Accountants.  In 1999, she joined Enterprise Insurance Company Limited.  She was appointed the first Internal Auditor of Enterprise Insurance in 2008 and became the Group Head, Corporate Audit & Assurance of Enterprise Group in 2011.  Araba was appointed Head of Finance of Enterprise Insurance in 2016, where she was responsible forfinancial strategic planning and execution; a role she held until her appointment as Managing Director of Acacia.

Araba is a Chartered Accountant by profession and anAssociate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG). She is also a Chartered Tax Professional and holds and Executive MBA in Finance.

As Managing Director, she brings a forward-looking approach to leadership, anchored in operational excellence, stakeholder-focused governance, and a commitment to long-term value.Her deep expertise spans financial stewardship, corporate governance, internal controls, and operational efficiency. Coupled with a robust understanding of insurance regulations and market dynamics, she is well-positioned to lead complex business operations with vision and precision.

Outside her professional career, Araba likes to mentor young professionals. She enjoys watching African movies and listening to good gospel music.

Martin Eson-Benjamin

Mr. Martin Eson-Benjamin is former CEO of the Millennium Development Authority of Ghana (MiDA), the accountable entity for Ghana's Millennium Challenge Account Programme. Martin worked with Kumasi Brewery Ltd, a subsidiary of UAC Ghana Limited from 1972-1981 and moved to Unilever Ghana Limited from 1982 to 1995 and rose to the position of Marketing Director. He rejoined Ghana Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of Heineken International in 1995, for a total of 9 years, starting as Managing Director, and later as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Eson-Benjamin has also served on the Boards of various Organizations. Board appointments include; Chairman of the Multimedia Broadcasting Company Ltd, Chairman of Ghana Agro Foods Company (GAFCO); Chairman of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, and as a Director of Ecobank Plc, Enterprise Group Plc, CFAO Gh Plc, the Kama Group of Companies, the Ningo Salt Company Ltd and Member of the Presidential Commission on Pensions. He was awarded the Marketing Man of the Year in 1984 and Officer of the National Order of the Volta in 2008.

Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby

Dr. Dsane-Selby is a highly skilled medical professional with experience spanning over three decades.  She held key positions in the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) which included Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer where she played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s strategy direction and operational efficiency.  Prior to her tenure at NHIA, Dr. Dsane-Selby served in various medical capacities in the United Kingdom, gaining diverse clinical experience and honing her leadership skills.

She holds a diploma in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Medical Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. 

Michael Tyson

Michael Tyson is the Group Chief Finance Officer responsible for further driving the Group’s financial prudence and profitability. Prior to this appointment, Michael was the General Manager, Finance at Enterprise Life.

Michael joined Enterprise Group PLC in 2014 from Unilever where he started his career and performed various roles within the Finance function.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – CIMA (UK) and holds an MSc in Strategic Business Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University. He is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) and Certified Life Coach (CL).

C. C. Bruce Jnr.

Cleland Cofie Bruce Jnr. once served as Executive Consultant in charge of Group Expansion in West Africa for Enterprise Group, Prior to that, he was the Chief Operations Officer for the Company. He also served as Executive Director of Enterprise Life Assurance LTD where he led the company to become the biggest Life Insurer in the country.

C.C. Bruce served as Vice President of the Ghana Insurance Association and Chairman of the Life Council between 2010 and 2014. He also chaired the Life Committee of the African Insurance Organisation from 2009 to 2013. C.C. Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in insurance and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII, UK) and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Ghana (FIIG).

He holds a DipFM (ACCA) and a Master Arts (Leading Innovation and Change) from York St. John University, UK.

Daniel Larbi Tieku

Until his appointment to the role of Group Chief Executive Officer in April 2023, Daniel Larbi-Tieku was the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Group PLC. He was the Group Chief Finance officer from 2016 before his appointment as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer in 2020.

Prior to joining the Enterprise family in June 2011, Daniel worked at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company where he started as a Management Accountant in 1998 and rose through the ranks to become the Head of Finance in the year 2000. 

Daniel also worked in different capacities with Rank Hovis, UK, and Allied Walthamstow, UK between 1995 and 1998. He has attended a vast spread of international seminars and training programs, notable amongst them are, Coca-Cola Fast 1&2 development programs, National Examining Board for Supervisory Management, UK, Process and value engineering in Manufacturing, UK. 

Daniel Larbi-Tieku is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants, UK. Daniel is a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Accounting from the University of Ghana and a finalist in a Master of Finance Degree with the University of Wales (Distance Learning). 

Papa Nii Maale-Adsei, M.D.

Dr. Papa Nii Maale-Adsei is the Head of Operations at Acacia Health Insurance Ltd, part of the Enterprise Group. With over 15 years of experience across clinical medicine, healthcare strategy, and commercial leadership, he brings a strong track record of driving growth and operational performance in the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

Prior to this, Dr. Maale-Adsei was Head of Growth at Acacia, leading the company’s commercial function—including new business acquisition, sales strategy, client relationship management, and marketing—resulting in significant expansion of Acacia’s market share and client base.

In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving process efficiency, and ensuring service delivery excellence across the business.

Earlier in his career, he held senior regional roles at AstraZeneca PLC, where he was responsible for providing scientific and commercial support for the sales and marketing of cardiovascular and metabolic products across Sub-Saharan Africa. He worked closely with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with market execution. He has also contributed to health promotion and sales-focused advocacy programs with Vodafone, Pyxera Global, and Unilever.

Dr. Maale-Adsei holds a BSc in Medical Sciences and an MB ChB from the University of Ghana Medical School. He is a Certified Data Protection Supervisor, an ISO 22301:2019 Lead Implementer, and holds certification in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management from GIMPA.

He is passionate about innovation in healthcare delivery, with a personal interest in art, music, technology—and is a loyal supporter of Arsenal Football Club

Gifty Laar

Gifty is an astute Human Resource professional with over fifteen (15) years of experience in the Ghanaian financial services sector. She has oversight responsibility for Employee Relations and Human Capital Development. She brings to the role diverse experience in delivering excellent employee experience.

Gifty started her career in 2007 as a Lead Generator with the then Barclays Bank Ghana Ltd. (Now Absa Bank Ghana Ltd), handling portfolios in sales. She joined Enterprise Insurance as a Front Desk Officer in 2008 and in 2009 became an Administrative Officer. She was subsequently appointed PA & HR/Administrative Officer with Enterprise Group PLC when the Group was established. In 2020 she was appointed as the HR Administrator & L&D Coordinator where she was responsible for various corporate events and programmes designed to improve Employee Experience for Enterprise Group and Its Subsidiaries. She held this role until she was appointed the Acting HR Business Partner for Acacia Health in May 2022. She was subsequently appointment the substantive HR Business Partner in September 2022.

Gifty holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana. She is a Senior Certified Professional of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM – SCP) and a member of the SHRM Forum Ghana.

Gifty loves nature, flowers, décor, and event planning which she usually does for family and friends. She is married with three adorable children.

Keli Gadzekpo

Keli Gadzekpo was appointed the Board Chairman for Enterprise Group PLC in 2023. Prior to, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Group PLC from 2014. He has over two decades experience in investment banking since co-founding Databank, he has contributed to the development of the capital market and the Stock Exchange in Ghana through his oversight of Databank Brokerage Limited. 

Mr. Gadzekpo is the Chairman of the Databank Foundation and also a Director of Ventures & Acquisitions Limited, Databank Epack Investment Fund and the North Ridge School. Mr. Gadzekpo went to Achimota School; he holds a BSc in Accounting from the Brigham Young University and is a CPA from the USA. 

He is also a Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University where he earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He is Ghanaian. 

Paul Lawer Afiewehe, FCCA

Paul Lawer is a seasoned finance and strategy professional with over fifteen years of progressive experience across multiple industries, including investment advisory services, banking, health insurance, and retail business including funeral services. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Cape Coast.

Paul provides strong leadership in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational performance, with a proven ability to establish robust accounting and control systems that support transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. His expertise spans strategy formulation and execution, budgeting and performance management, financial reporting, risk assessment and mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

Through his professional engagements with Transitions and Acacia Health Insurance, Paul has played a key role in driving financial discipline, strengthening governance structures, supporting executive decision-making, and aligning financial strategy with business objectives.

He also brings strong capabilities in process improvement and the use of technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and financial insight.

Paul works closely with boards, executive management, regulators, and other stakeholders to balance risk, performance, and long-term value creation. His broad industry exposure and practical approach position him as a trusted advisor in driving financial resilience and strategic execution.
